We are seeking an experienced Sales and Distribution Manager for our client, a reputable tobacco company based in Dubai.

Job Summary:

The Sales and Distribution Manager is responsible for overseeing the planning, implementation, and management of sales and distribution strategies to ensure the availability, visibility, and growth of products across all channels in market (Kuwait / KSA / UAE / Egypt) . This role focuses on driving revenue, expanding market share, improving distribution efficiency, and managing relationships with key retail and wholesale partners.

Location: UAE, KSA and Kuwait

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Management:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue and volume targets across all regions in country.
  • Lead and motivate the sales team to deliver on KPIs such as coverage, productivity, and customer engagement.
  • Set monthly and quarterly sales targets for teams and track performance against goals.
  • Identify new business opportunities, key accounts, and channel development strategies.

Distribution Management:

  • Oversee distribution operations to ensure product availability and coverage in all key retail and wholesale outlets.
  • Manage relationships with distributors, logistics partners, and warehouse teams to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Monitor stock levels and ensure timely replenishment across channels and regions.
  • Implement route-to-market (RTM) strategies to enhance last-mile delivery and service levels.

Team Leadership & Collaboration:

  • Recruit, train, and develop the sales and distribution team, ensuring high levels of performance and professionalism.
  • Collaborate with marketing, trade marketing, and supply chain teams to align commercial efforts and trade promotions.
  • Conduct regular field visits to monitor in-market execution and gather market intelligence.

Reporting & Analysis:

  • Analyze sales data, market trends, and customer feedback to improve sales strategies.
  • Prepare weekly/monthly sales performance reports for senior management.
  • Track ROI of sales and distribution activities, and suggest improvements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Supply Chain, or a related field (MBA is a plus).
  • 7+ years of experience in sales and distribution, with at least 3 years in a managerial role, preferably in GCC.
  • Proven experience in managing distributors, field sales teams, and key accounts.
  • Strong knowledge of trade structure (co-ops, hypermarkets, traditional trade, wholesale).
  • Familiarity with ERP and CRM systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Salesforce).
  • Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Fluent in English; Arabic proficiency is highly preferred.
