We are currently hiring a Regional Operations Manager for our client, a reputable construction company based in Dubai.
Reporting To: Business Unit Manager
Role Purpose:
The role involves full responsibility for all the operational related activities of the Contracting Business, which includes:
- Responsible for all SHEQ matters, relating to operations.
- Responsible for technical matters relating to operational activities.
- Responsible for financial performance of operation teams – to ensure outputs is achieved or bettered as per estimation, control costs and budgetary targets gets achieved.
- Responsible for controlling and developing Human Resources within the operational teams.
- Responsible for all execution related matters of operations:

- Planning (incl. logistics) and scheduling
- Utilizing Equipment (Plant) and human resources in a cost-effective manner
- Productivity
- Training & Development of human resources and procedures to improve operational performance.
- To provide required input for estimation of Projects.
- To maintain and enhance existing client relationships and to develop relationships with new clients, to improve and expand business dealings.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
- Appropriate contracting and engineering-related professional qualifications.
- Demonstrated commercial and contractual expertise, including experience with FIDIC.
- A minimum of 15 years of experience in road and infrastructure projects, including at least 5 years in an Operations Manager role with Tier One companies.
- Demonstrated managerial and operational experience in road and infrastructure projects, preferably involving RTA projects.
- Proven experience in business development and the establishment of new business opportunities.
- Ability to perform effectively under high-pressure environments and tight deadlines.
- Proven track record of successfully managing delivering of projects, relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
- Formal technical engineering qualification with a strong engineering background.
- Relevant qualifications and/or training in Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE).
