Role Purpose
The Group Commercial Director is a senior executive leadership role responsible for owning and driving the Group’s full commercial agenda across all markets and channels. The role has end-to-end accountability for revenue growth, commercial strategy, market performance, pricing, route-to-market execution, and profitability across a multi-market operation exceeding USD 120M in annual commercial operations and 100+ employees.
The role oversees all regional commercial leaders and commercial operations, ensuring alignment with the Group’s strategy, governance standards, and growth ambitions. The position requires deep tobacco industry experience, with strong exposure to next-generation nicotine products (NGPs), including ENDS, heated products, pouches, and emerging alternatives.

Reporting Line:
Reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and is a core member of the Group Leadership Team.

Scope & Scale
•Geographic scope: UAE, KSA, Kuwait, Lebanon, Iraq, Egypt, Morocco, China (industrial projects), and other emerging markets
•Channels: Retail, Distribution, Travel Retail, E-commerce, B2B
•People leadership: 100+ employees through direct and indirect reporting lines
•Financial scope: USD 120M+ annual commercial operations

Experience

  • Minimum 15–20 years of progressive commercial leadership experience
  • Mandatory background in tobacco industry
  • Strong exposure to next-generation nicotine products (ENDS, heated tobacco, pouches)
  • Proven leadership of multi-country, multi-channel commercial operations
  • Experience managing large teams (100+ employees) and complex matrices
