The successful candidate will assist with classroom activities, student supervision, learning support, and daily classroom routines.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the lead teacher with daily classroom activities and lesson preparation.
• Support children during learning, play, creative, and group activities.
•  Supervise students and ensure their safety and well-being at all times.
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom environment.
• Provide individual support to children who require additional assistance.
• Assist with classroom displays, teaching materials, and educational resources.
• Support children during meals, outdoor activities, and other daily routines.
• Encourage positive behaviour and social interaction among students.
• Communicate effectively with the class teacher regarding students’ progress and needs.
• Follow Nursery policies, procedures, and safeguarding requirements.
• Assist with Nursery events, activities, and other duties as required.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Teacher Assistant, Teaching Assistant, Classroom Assistant, or similar role is preferred.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patient, caring, and enthusiastic approach towards children.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Good organizational and classroom management skills.
• Basic understanding of child safeguarding and health and safety practices.
• CACHE Level 2 /degree in Early Years or Diploma in Early Childhood Education (EYFS) duly attested.
