Our client is seeking an experienced Design Manager to lead their landscape design team and deliver innovative residential, commercial, and hospitality projects across Dubai and the UAE.

You will oversee the full design process, from concept development and client presentations to detailed design and construction documentation. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a passion for design excellence, and a proven track record in landscape architecture, working closely with clients, consultants, and stakeholders to create high-quality, sustainable landscape solutions.

Location: Dubai

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a team of landscape designers and draughtsmen & freelancers.
• Oversee the development of conceptual, schematic, and detailed designs for residential and/or commercial landscapes.
• Collaborate closely with sales, construction, and project management teams to ensure seamless execution.
• Conduct site visits, gather measurements, and assess existing conditions for accurate planning.
• Present design proposals to clients, incorporating feedback and revisions as needed.
• Ensure all designs comply with regulations, environmental guidelines, and company standards.
• Manage project timelines and design budgets, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery.
• Maintain quality control over design output, from graphic presentation to construction documentation.
• Collaborate with estimation, operations, and construction teams to ensure design intent is carried through into execution.
• Stay current with industry trends, exhibitions/ award programs, materials, and sustainable design practices.
• Ensure brand consistency across all visual communications and touchpoints.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Bachelor’s/ Master’s degree in landscape architecture or related field.
• 8+ years of professional design experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership or management role.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating leadership in landscaping design & concept development
• Exceptional leadership and team management abilities, with a focus on inspiring creativity and building strong, collaborative teams.
